Hello everyone I’m new! I’m interested in raising chicks. Definitely looking forward to eating some eggs. However I have no idea what to do. Im looking at getting 6 chicks from the local tractor supply. The person working there gave me some insight on how to start but I need some hard facts/info/advice. Thank you!!

Hi and welcome. I'm new on here too and I can tell you first hand everyone is very friendly.
My advice about getting chicks from a feed store from experience, don't get straight run chicks lol. My daughter works for a feed store, got 5 chicks and thinking 3-4 are roosters.
