I do Have Metal mess to use as a vent on each end ( Dont plan on adding anything Birds in till the Spring ), I also have the windows I could crack.
The Locks all have Very Snug Pins in them so I don't think anything can get in.
The Roost are about 12 Inch apart, The one that is real close isn't screwed down yet it is just resting there.
And the Wood is Prob about 2 Inch think and they are very hard I don't think Ill Have a problem with them breaking.
I Will prob use Wood Chips that I can get for free from the mill up the road.
I am not sure what i will use to preserve the wood Ill Prob let it age a bit and a lot of the old timers said that Pine and Hemlock will last a very long time untreated So I may never treat, We have many old barns here that are in great shape.
Not sure what to do about keeping them off the top of the nesting boxes, I have that swing down Window cover that Ill shut when I open up the windows, SO I cant put anything per meant on top of the nesting boxes.
How do the nesting boxes look? They are about 12x12 and I have eight of them Prob more then I need.
Thanks for all the kind words.
