howdy from SE Missouri. Welcome to the flock. For me, chicken math means you start out with the number of birds you think you want/ need, but then something happens in your brain (SNAP!) and you realize you need new breeds, new colors, ones that lay different colored eggs, or more exotic or rarer breeds or you decide to try hatching your own ...or... or... and suddenly there you are building a bigger coop or transforming a shed or...or.. or! You'll see, chicken math is a real affliction and I think we all suffer from it!

The truth behind this comment is amazingly true.. you start with i just want a few and that turns into next ideas and next ideas after that lol
