New wafer still only getting 92 degrees

I am having this same problem. I do believe it is because we keep our heat in the house so low that the bator can not get up to temp. I know the boyfriend will not go for keeping the house at 72, I may have to try the closet trick

I have 3 bators running in my unheated basement up here in chilly New England. The temp in my basement is about 55 degrees. I have the bators covered with blankets, and all of them are holding rock solid hatching temps. For blankets, I used those U-Haul shipping blankets cut in half. When folded in half, covers and insulates them well, as well as keeping them from drafts. I have had successful hatches all winter this way.
