New Way to watch an Embryo Grow Try#4 (Last Video)

All I did was crack an egg into a plastic bag and and made a knot at the open end of the bag, no water was added.

Makes more sense now. It looked like a egg in a bag of water. This will be interesting to watch. How did you get this idea?

If you did not steralize the bag first. It may eventually grow a bacteria that would kill the egg.

I'm wondering if the porousness (is that even a word?) of the eggshell is necessary for viability? Keep us posted on the progress!

I would guess that there will be a problem with permeability - like how contact lens are made to allow oxygen to reach the eyes so cells don't die. I am thinking that there will be no way for the egg to get the oxygen it needs, or moisture - or loose moisture as it grows.

When you put it in the bag you lost the natural air cell that the egg had. Not sure how exactly you would replace this or how long it can go without the oxygen.
