New welsummers

Can someone help me figure out if I have roos or pullets. I got them from Rural King and they have a pink dot on the top of their head that was put there by the workers. But no one that knew anything about chickens was there that day. Sorry if the pictures posted more than once I am new to this site and I'm on my phone.

If they were sold as pullets, they are likely pullets. Sexing by color is about 75 accurate with them. The Hatchery would have used vent sexing which is 95% or so accurate

I am assuming the pink dot means female. The chicken person was not working that day & their replacement had no clue.

Okay I am pretty sure I have 1 boy & 1 girl. They have a few chest feathers now & the larger chick has dark brown & the other has tan. Also the larger chick has way less feathers & almost no tail feathers while the other is feathering out way faster. I think the store made a mistake & marked this guy a girl. I am happy though. Either way.

Yep you have a roo and a pullet, the one with lighter eye shadow with blurry browning on the feather is the roo the one with more distinctive brown all the way to its tail is the hen. Welsumers are one of those breeds that you can tell easy by it’s feathering pattern.

An FYI for the future when you get the same type of chicks(welsumer) here’s how the pullet should look like, all three are female. Notice the more distinct eyeshadow from the eyes all the way back and the vivid coloring from the top of the head all the way down on the back.
