"Good job. Well, I should be on my way and look for-" then a giant Jackel ran past them like a bullet, he seemed to have grabbed something, and then it screamed. "Pat!" King Tut said and bolted towards the Jackel. He was too far behind.

Sarotoo flew down from a branch and landed on the jackel. He ripped out a tuft of fur.

(Has she sat on the eggs all the time, not really taking breaks. That's what 24/7 means. All day, all the time.)

Sarotoo flew down from a branch and landed on the jackel. He ripped out a tuft of fur.

The Jackel pushed his back paw on Sarotoo's chest, making Sarotoo fall. He ran off. Prim was right behind the Jackel, speeding towards it. She attacked it and it dropped Pat, running away.

Prim looked at Pat. Pat was still and stiff.

Sarotoo rushed to Pat, he gasped to see her motionless body

The chicks were hiding in the bush, peeping for their mom.

King Tut looked at Pat, frowning. "I feel bad not going to her, but I need to help her chicks right now. She'd want me to." King Tut said. He mimicked a hen and covered them with his wings.
