Degan grumbled under his breath. "Spri.... com...up.." Then said louder, "like I could see to fight anything, except maybe bite his toes."

"Dude, use those spurs! Those are your main weapons! But just watch him, he's gonna try to win over the flock, I just know it." King Tut said. "I am the KING of this flock!"

"Oh! You mean the little 1/2 in bumps past my extra toes? He would laugh me to the next country." Degan said sarcastically.

"How come you don't have these?" He asked and showed him the long, sharp spur on his leg. "I guess I matured a little out of the norm." He said. "Are you jealous?" Phoenix asked King Tut. "What? What do you mean?" He asked guiltily. "You think that new guys gonna steal the flock, don't you?" She asked with a smirk, he looked away and made no eye contact.

Well, I'm a lover not a fighter. It's not like I've had my eye on anyone....." Nothing?" He tried again, " my eye on anyone.....get it?" Not a sense of humor in the bunch." he said as he walked off. Somewhere he hoped.

"Dude, I got my eye on all of 'em." He said and chuckled. "That's what roo's do."

Sarotoo looked at them. "I'm not going to steal your flock!" he laughed. He shook his head then looked at his long spurs. "But I don't mind a fight for dominance." He said trying to lead the flock to his home

"Mine are sharpened everyday, so just say I win and we'll move on." King Tut said and kept walking, his head held high and he was as close to Phoenix as possible. "Why are you acting so proud over that? You hated getting those things sharpened." Pat said. Phoenix giggled.

Sarotto looked at him " It doesn't work like that!" He held his tail high and strutted toward one of the hems to intimidate him
