New Year Block swap

I would like to know how many mug rugs would we each have to make?
For me this time of year, time is short, and I took on that quilt class too.

PS that chicken block is cute!

Just going off the original post here, it sounded like the idea was one that you would send directly to your randomly chosen person, and you would recieve one from a diff randomly chosen group member.

Definitely only one mug rug each. May be Christmas is too soon. We could choose another occasion. Sometime when we wouldn't normally get presents or cards. The Ides of March perhaps?

What a brilliant website, Cathie Sue. With tutorials too. Some of these would be done in a matter of moments! I like the strippy stacked one too. So simple but effective.

Rosie and I have just been to yet another quilt show. It was in the Imperial War museum at Duxford so lots of aeroplanes too. The vendors did quite well off us I fear.:/

Hi, what a neat thread to find on here... chickens And quilts!

Im in the middle of ballet costume season, but would Love to do the mug rug swap.

I would have enjoyed the block swap but 6 classes of ballerinas and a set of steampunk goggles and tinkerbell wings to construct, by the end of november, has me waking up in a cold sweat. Sadly because lots are little kiddlets they grow overnight so its always last minute. ( sew like the wind )

You could do a Happy new year mug rug? Due end of january which would get everyone past the christmas stampede...

( just a suggestion from an unknown random person )

:)

Love the blocks youve posted so far !
