New Year Block swap

We would love to have you join our swaps, we have two lovely ladies from England (Lincolnshire) who are regulars on our swaps. We have room for you on our New Years swap what a real international quilt it would be. Look at the first post for block/colors for this swap and see if you want to join it.

The mug rug is still in the planning stages and your down for that one.
Wouldn't that be awesome having 3 continents represented.

Okay guys this one block I found is still captivating me so I think it is the one, well it is if I can paper piece!!!!! Here is a picture of it, this is not my sewn block though just the one I found for the pattern.
Paper piecing is so much fun, I have a mini quilt on my wall I paper pieced its about 10 -12 inches square. It was fiddly but really fun and surprisingly fast to complete. Youll be hooked ;)

Ok I'm in
New Years (2014 ) , Earth tones at least 3 colors per block, block of our own choice ; make 12 .
which will make a lovely earth tone "sampler" style quilt

So its due over there on the 15th? Not sure I could manage that, the way my december runs ... dont think I have enough of those colours in my stash for 12 large blocks ...which is normally the perfect excuse to run out and shop ..lol
Im definately in for a mug rug though. And the next swap. If only Id found this thread 6 months ago

(Might eyeball my stash just in case ....)
(Whats a few all nighters to a quilter...? )

The swaps due date is almost always the mail date not the delivery date.

And ......................... no matter how many sign up it is still just 12 little squares.

It's a beautiful block! Earth tones too.
I just counted how many angles in a 6" block, this would be the" nightmare before Christmas" for me to try. I am just not experienced enough to take on anything that complicated.
You always have the most interesting ideas Kass
