How's everyone doing on this one?

Everyone got patterns picked?

I have been sewing a little on this today, but had not sewn any for a few weeks. I am have 6 complete, working on number 7.

Anyone have pics to share?

I have my fabric cut, so far only using 3 of the 4 colors I posted, the one that looks like a coffee bean is tabled right now, will post a pic when I get a block done

I ordered my fabric today. I really got it in my head that batik fabric would be perfect for this swap. I got a dark slate gray, a lapis lazuli blue and an ocean blue. I'm glad I ordered plenty i may be using some of the blue in the patriotic block.

We are getting ready for a winter storm. Snowsleeticefreezingtemps. I'm hoping for more snow than freezing ice. We dumb Okies can't drive on ice.

I put out a ton of poison bait chunks for the mice/rats this afternoon. What i need are a couple of good barn cats. Well, I'd need a barn too but, well, dreams are nice.

Stay warm peeps!

You can never go wrong w/ batik fabric! lol

Your batik color choices sound like they will make a beautiful block! Bonus if you can use some in the patriotic block!

Winter storm here! Just came in from shoveling a path to the shed so the barn kittens (newly neutered yesterday) can get to and fro without disappearing into the snow. Plowed at least a foot yesterday and there is a new 12" + layer of snow to plow again. I'll take the snow over ice anyday - I don't know anyone who can drive well on ice. Yes, we drive on our frozen lakes in winter to ice fish, but that is totally different than trying to navigate a slippery road. Hope it is just snow for you and not ice.

This is the first time we've had barn cats (minus the barn). These are the only kittens that we have been able to befriend of the many kittens that the numerous feral cats have deposited in our sheds. The feral cat colony has gotten so big that they've had to stretch out their boundaries to include our house and many of the neighbors. The dogs despise the cats but I do like the fact that our sheds are quite rodent free.

I still just have the 6 done for this swap, I have been working on Christmas gifts this week and not very steadily at that.
We only have about 3 inches of snow, but our night time temps have been around 3 to 6 degrees, thank goodness I got those chicken water-heaters done in time for this snap. they have been working great.
Plus my Mom fell again, nearly fractured her cheekbone, scraped her glasses lens and hurt her thumb, she fell on the asphalt. so I have been back and forth to help her out.
