Coldupnorth I don't know what I did with the tracking for your mug rug but it should be there soon now I will have to wait along with you

We had an earthquake here in 2008 I think it was biggest recorded in Britain. 5.2 and we were only 14 miles from the epicentre. It was in the middle of the night , it felt like our bed had turned into a water bed! My DH just rolled over and said "it's ok ,it's only an earthquake" even he laughs at this, how he knew I don't know! We had no structural damage but did have quite a few broken ornaments and vases that fell.
The poor dog was on the floor surrounded by things that had fallen and looking as if to say " I didn't do anything!"

good thing on the structural damage and DH's you gotta love em, too late to trade them in on a newer model

I found out something today that might change my life forever (maybe a tad mellow dramatic) You can do an effective kaliedeoscope design w/ 4 pieces of fabric, SQUARES NOT TRIANGLES!!!!!!!!

Yes you would only need 4 repeats instead of 6 or 8, so your repeat can be a bit bigger and still work. I have been collecting repeat fabric for years and have 6 repeats in each of the fabrics I have collected so I can do this 4 square method and still have plenty left for coordinating



she did it the same as regular stack and wack but only 4 layers deep, and then cut squares instead of 60 degree triangles, then just made sure the same corner of the square was always to the center.
