New Years Eve hatch along! Can anyone join me??

I just got home from work, I am still stuck with the one chick and a pipped egg. I have 3 that should hatch for sure and 5 or 6 that probably wont since they are not showing great signs when I candled them but we will see. Either way I still have 23 that have hatched in the last month lol

Still nothing here, I'm expecting them to start tomorrow afternoon cause I'll be at work.

I keep peeking in just to check though.

I just peeked in on mine, still one baby but 2 pips at least, hopefully I will get 4-6 babies out of the 9 eggs

5 of the little ones broke into the world while I was out with the neighbors drinking cool aid!!!!

I just did a real quick candle on my eggs. A few days past the 10 day mark. lol...

It looks like 12 of the 62 I set are duds. 3 are early quitters, the others clear. So, are those good #'s? Are the boys doing their jobs? lol... This is only the second time setting our own eggs. The first time was 10 eggs, 8 hatched, 2 clear.

7 now with three others pipping. This is the best hatch rate ever for me, i hope my chicken eggs do this well! Do quail hatch easier, or did i get lucky? I locked down 10.

7 was my final count. With all the egg shells flying, I was mistaken about the last 3 pipping. They were fully formed, so who knows what happened.

Anyway, I didn't make it to New Years, but it sure was fun. I have 16 more set to hatch on the 10th.

I was at 3 when I left this morning and I'm thinking that's all I will get out of my eggs but that's ok, I have plenty of young birds right now lol. I might shut my incubator off for a couple months since I have hatched several bunches of birds since October and I'm tired of trying to keep them all warm lol

Lost one quail.

And, no one told me these little buggers are so crazy! I had to separate them from the chicks that were newly hatched, the quail kept picking at them.
