New Years Eve Incubator fill

Evonne,,a "Calcutta" is like and auction, winners takes all. In my area a long time ago, truck and tractor pulling was a big weekend pass time for a lot of farmers around here. To explain this better, before each seperate weight class to be pulled, all the trucks or tractors entered in that weight class was brought on the pulling track. Then they would auction off each entry,,if there was 15 pickup trucks entered in one weight class, there was 15 auctions, and the winner of every auction then chose the truck they expected to win that class. Of course the first auction went for the most money,as that winner got the first choice of all entries, and as each truck was chosen by a winning bidder,it was not able to be bought again,,all this money was put into a pot,,and the truck that took first place in that class,,the winner of the Calcutta Auction that bought that winning truck, collected the entire "pot" of money from all 15 bidders. Normally the first wining bid went for $150-$200,and the last 1-2 trucks to be auctioned off sold for $15-$20,, but the amount in the "pot" was often times over $1500,,many times some of the cheapest selling trucks bought in the Calcutta won the class,,and I witnessed many times some one that bought a truck for $25 end up winning over $1500 in the entire Calcutta auction pot.
If some of the trucks or tractors had already been in a few tractor-truck pulls that season, the bidders had a pretty good idea which trucks or tractors would place high, thus having a greater chance of winning in their weight class,so those entries always sold for a lot more money.
But with doing this "Calcutta",,the participants would be those involved in hatching eggs, the "Calcutta" bidders would offer up fertile eggs instead of money,,if the person they chose wins a particular catagory,,such as highest hatch rate,,they would then get to choose from others in the "Calcutta" what eggs,or what participant they wanted. There would have to be sme rules but nothing major,,and all could keep track here as to winners, ect!
