Greetings from Dunedin.

Had chickens before for a number of years, but have been chickenless for a few years now.

Until Thursday morning, when my incubator started to fill up with fluffy things. It’s my first time as a chicken mama.

We bought our own place a month ago, and I’m turning the section into a permaculture food forest for us and the Kereru, Tui, and Bellbirds.

The brooder now has 15 chicks in it, Dorkings, Australorps and Wyandottes.
