Hello from rural Pickington, OH. I just got back from Afghanistan and was researching raising chickens while there. I ordered 4 started birds from Meyer and they s/b here the end of April. I am excited. I decided on pullets due to I really dont have the time to raise chicks and it would be unfair to them. My spouse hasn't been totally convinced yet because we lost 2 dogs last year w/i 5months(older with health conditions) and he's afraid to get attached. He was alone both times when they passed away. We have 2 dogs and a rabbit and our kids are grown and he's retired so just a matter of time.
