Could you set them in a kiddie pool? Thats way too small of a brooder.

What about letting them go outside? It's in the 60s here in Montana I'm sure that's still cold for them but can they go out for an hour or 2?

Yes, you can take them out for supervised little trips. I don't know how well they would fare in 60F, but its worth a shot just watch for any signs that they are cold.

They can jump out of a kiddie pool cant they? I'll have to figure out a different place to put them because I dont have room in my house for a kiddie pool.

I've never had that problem, but you can wrap wire around the cage so they cant get out.
