Newbie, can't post pictures

So, a couple of months ago I decided I was going to raise chickens. I built a brooder and started making decisions on the breeds I wanted. A couple of weeks ago, a buddy called to say he was getting some chicks from a friend and asked if we wanted some for free. I was out of town on business but told my wife to get a few,,,no more than six. She must have mis-counted because we ended up with twelve! They are now around 2 weeks old and I'm wondering what breeds and sex I have. I know it is early, but you can't help but wonder.

I have alot of pictures to upload, but the forum will not let me post them because I'm new. How long before I'll be able to post?

Sounds like a case of chicken math to me! Can you post them to a photobucket acct. and then link the photos? (I have no clue)

also tinypic.com. That's where I've been putting mine. you need an account or anything and it will just give you the link to copy and paste here.

I am actually able to upload my pictures. But, when I try to insert the link in my message, I get an error saying that people new to the forum cannot post photos.

I think you have to have 10 posts before the forum allows you to post pics. Just go to the New Members board and post a bunch of friendly welcomes, and then come back and share your pics with us!
