Congratulations on your new adventure and welcome aboard! You'll find tons of information here.Hi all!
My name is Morgan Pope and Iām from Northeast Alabama. Roll Tide!I felt like that needed to be said for some odd reason..LOL! Anyways, I just started my venture with chickens and purchased 2 Easter Egger chicks at our local trade day a few weeks ago. They are now 5 weeks old. I donāt know what I have yet as far as gender but Iām praying for pullets only as I want fresh eggs to share with family and friends and obviously to have them as pets. I posted a thread under sexing them in hopes that when I post their updated pictures later on today that Iāll have some insight. My boyfriend is building me a coop as soon as we get some good weather. Itās been raining/storming crazy here in Alabama. We have been doing a lot research on coop necessities and coop safety. Iām really excited to be joining this community as I have wanted to be a āchicken mamaā for quite sometime now. Iām so blessed to finally be able to live out my dream.
