Hello all. I'm new to chickens and new to the forums. I have 12 or so in the brooder and 4 laying hens. All new this month.
There are black sex links, isa browns in brooder and the hens are barred rock and rhode island reds.
I am a homemaker and garden, knit, sew, paint, embroider, read, read, read some more. Love to travel. I also breed goldendoodles. Moved from Northern NJ to Western New York a decade ago to get the kids into a country atmosphere. Looking at chicks every year in the feed store finally made me cave.
working on the girl's coop and run as we speak. Three of my ladies in the photo here. They are in a temporary run, while we build the permanant one.
