Hello all. I'm new to chickens and new to the forums. I have 12 or so in the brooder and 4 laying hens. All new this month.
There are black sex links, isa browns in brooder and the hens are barred rock and rhode island reds.

I am a homemaker and garden, knit, sew, paint, embroider, read, read, read some more. Love to travel. I also breed goldendoodles. Moved from Northern NJ to Western New York a decade ago to get the kids into a country atmosphere. Looking at chicks every year in the feed store finally made me cave.

(Relatively new here myself)

This is a great site with great info and a ton of great people.

BYC has helped me soooooo much answering all my poultry questions.

P.S. and the little smiley face things are cool too.
