Haha yes they are spoiled. I'm a researcher. I read and watch everything I can find before diving in head first and going from there. So far it's great. Generally, they put themselves to bed under the wool hen when it gets dark. Last night took longer than previous nights but they did it. It sounds like they're doing what's natural for when they're older which is cool.

And no we don't have to change the water. The pot stays really hot and is still pretty warm in the morning when we wake up. So it lasts 10-12 hours. I reheat it in the morning because they don't seem to want to go in the wool hen for warmth during the day, though I assume if I took away the pot of water that is what they would do.
