Newbie first Flock

Hello from Kentucky. Last week I brought home my first set of chicks. Bought from a local raising her own. Told they are Aracauna, 1 hen 2 roos...and 5 RIR hens. At least I hope that is what I got. Here are my babies, I am so excited! Looking forward to the egg laying!

Glad you could join us here! Congratulations on your new chicks How exciting for you and I'm sure you will enjoy raising them very much. It's lots of fun and very rewarding as you watch them how into adult birds. The learning centre link CT left for you is a great place to start for list of fab articles that will really help you with your chicks.
