Newbie from Central Fl

Hi everyone! I'm completely new to chickens. By sheer dumb luck I was able to convince my husband at the flea market to buy me two chickens (pullets). I think they are Belgium D'Uccles (Over and Easy). The guy just said bantams. Within a couple of hours we had disassembled our kids wooden play set and had a coop built for them.

Then I lost my mind and bought two 3wk old Easter egg chicks (Cadbury and Benedict). Hopefully they're girls. If not I'll be on the sellers door for a refund or exchange, I need eggs not cockadoodling. Right now the babies are quarantined on the other side of our house away from the older girls for the next 30 days.

I can't wait to start reading and learning about my new flock!!
