Welcome! Bienvenidos! Willkommen-- Neighbor! Hope you are able to figure out what you need to do to get those ordinances changed. Looks like some friendly people already have pointed you in the right direction to look here on our site. I know that in my local area our laws were changed a few years ago by a citizen such as yourself who petitioned our local government and they changed the laws from not allowing any chickens to allowing 4 hens. Which is better than nothing! So it is possible.

Oh I am so sorry! That must have been heart breaking. Definitely look into getting ordinances changed. I have never had to deal with this sort of thing so I have nothing to offer other than keep trying!!
