Hi All!
I am a new chicken wanna-be-owner from the SF Bay area. I dove in to the whole chicken-thing and tomorrow is hatching day! Or maybe it is. 8) I hope that I have not made too many mistakes and the babies are okay. I've two sets of eggs incubating now, an assortment from MyPetchicken.com that are due tomorrow and 12 more that are due next wednesday. I've got them all in a Hovabator Genesis with the egg turner. I went on lock down Sunday and have been manually turning the ones that are due next week.
I've had one weeping egg that I removed (safely!). I've been candling and think I see chicks in at least a couple of the eggs.
I've been reading the forums like mad, learning more every day! I hope I have some babies tomorrow!
