My wife and I bought our first 6 chicks on 4/17/20.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?6

(3) What breeds do you have?
2-barred rock, 2 buffs, 2 easter eggers
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Projects, watching the birds, fresh eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hunting, fishing, family
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife and I have one dog, Daisy. 6 year old half English bulldog, half beagle. We live on 120 acre old farm with no farming so we are working on changing that
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

Thanks! Loving all the info so far. Here are some of my 3 1/2 week old hopefully hens.

Hello and welcome to BYC! This is a great place to learn and share your chicken adventures. Wow, 120 acres is a lot. I would suggest sticking with the chicken project and getting a kitchen garden going for now. If it's all new, then take it one step at a time. Best of luck with this new adventure.

Wow 120 acres! I’m so jealous. I could have a lot of chickens on 120 acres.
