With a home made bater and auto turner, I hatched out 10 of 11 eggs.

I got the eggs from this site... www.tandbpoultryauctions.com I was curious on what it costs to sell and there are no insert fees and the final fees are only 3%! Beats the heck out of eggbid and ebay.

Here you can see one coming out, next to 3 chicks.

The one chick doesn't have spraddle legs, it's just turning.

Wow 10 out of 11 is an awesome hatch rate! You must have done something right! Good for you! They are adorable! What breed of chicken are they? The chipmunk stripes make me think Ameraucana/Easter Egger...but I'm no expert on breeds!

I was surprised at the hatch rate. These guys traveled over 1600 miles in two days via Priority Mail (who needs Express!).

These are Silkies, note the fuzzy chaps they are wearing.

They are now 5 days old and growing like weeds and showing wing feathers.

Excellent hatch! I had 6 Ameraucana eggs for my present hatch sent to me from my friend in California, about 2300 miles from me. They were all growing fine when I candled at 7 days. Got here in two days, too. Amazing sometimes.
