I was concerned about this hatch because my air cells were small when I checked on day 18. I now have 3 that have externally pipped. Can they still drown? Or is it more likely that they will not drown now that they have pipped externally? Also one seems to have pipped below the line I marked for the air cell by a little. Could this indicate that the air cell may have grown? I’m on day 19 and will flip to day 20 in about 4 to 5 more hours. Using brinsea mini advanced II. And one more ? I can hear peeping and see rocking of one that hasn’t pipped yet...but can you usually hear them tapping against the shell to get out or not? Just curious. Thanks. Here’s a couple pictures. Note the one that pipped below the air cell line

Air cells look fine to me, looks like they will hatch good. The below air cell egg is fine, they rear their heads back to make the external pip so sometimes it lands in a crazy spot. Now you will get to watch them zip around the shell :)

Some you can hear and some not, each eggs different.
Post pics when they hatch!
