Hello all. I am brand new to chickens. We bought 6 chicks from TSC 2 weeks ago. They are all from a straight run Bantam group. 2 were a little bigger than the others (my older son picked them) and have since grown ALOT more than the others. Any ideas on what we ended up with would be appreciated. I have no clue. Thanks!

Pics please!

Could be an EE. Does it have green legs? Sure is cute though!

was it in a mixed red bin, or just a straight run bin? kinda maybe looks like a female golden comet. but maybe not. just a shot in the dark here.

Depending on their colors, the ones with the feathers on thier legs I'd guess cochin... its one of the more common bantams for feed stores to carry... and the speckled one looks like it could be a barred rock to me

The two big ones likely got picked up by a kid and put in the wrong bin. My cochin bantams were bigger than the rest of the bantams so if you have cochins and the two chicks are that much bigger I would say they are standard. One looks like a barred rock and looking at the pic of the group the head spot seems like that of a cockerel but it's getting a little old to be sure but if it was scattered like that in the first couple of days I would say a roo. I was in TSC the other day and they had a straight run bin with over thirty barred rocks in it. There were three pullets in the whole group. I'm hoping someone got there before me and picked out the pullets otherwise their straight run wasn't very straight.
