Hello to Everyone! I'm very new to owning chickens! A week ago we took in a rooster, Prince Louie, and his bride, Princess Penelope. Prince Louie was evicted from his home, as a neighbor didn't like his crowing early in the morning....so...he moved a house over! Not sure if that was an improvement or not, but we love him! He brought along his bride, and are both very happy in their new, very uncrowded, coop! I believe she is an Ameraucana and he, not sure at this time, need to ask again. We were so excited about taking them, that i missed the introduction! He is tan/cream with emerald green tail feathers. I know I'll have many questions, and am excited to learn! Right now making sure we're set up for the heat with misters, probably a small fan and if extreme heat, another coop set up inside a storage casita that has a/c. Looking at articles about frozen water slabs to sip on, watermelon wedges, etc. Thanks for listening!!
