Newbie here incubated eggs pointy side up 🤦🏻‍♀️

Lay the eggs on the side, you'll have 50/50 chance, during lockdown.

If any did develope to the point of hatching would they all be malpositioned , if so you might have to assist hatch

Chicks move around in the egg so I'm thinking if he laid it on its side, it might be able to re-adjust its position easier to hatch out.

Well, all the eggs were empty! None of them were fertilized I guess it’s a good thing since they were upside down.

As a learning experience, sounds like you actually lucked out. I have not been brave enough to attempt hatching yet. Sounds like it would take nerves of steel!

The only part of it that's really stressful is lockdown, other than that it's not that bad !

I follow a lot of these, many of them are real nail-biters!
