Newbie here - need help sexing these two!

The grey one is a lavender orphington and the other a black aumeraucana
They hatched April 23rd

Let me know if you need better pics - the black one is much more difficult to photograph. Also, if it is too early!

at about 5 weeks old, that orpington is a cockerel. I'm going with pullet for now on the ameraucana, but I really can't see its face very well in those pics. Can you get a nice closeup of the comb and face?

Ok - here are a few pics of the ameraucana - the comb looks bigger in the pics than real life... eek maybe i have 2 cockerels...

Hate to say it, but you do. The color and size of those wattles! That's a boy as well.

Gosh.....I guess I will have to rehome these two babes
How easy is it to give away roosters in your experience! I would prefer not to have to chop their heads off....though that will be plan b

I've been lucky, in the sense that I've only ever gotten pullets when I've bought them. The only rooster I've owned, I purchased intentionally.

I'd start by starting a thread in the buy/sell/trade section, make sure you include your location, and then I'd put something up in your state thread.
