Hello Everyone,
I am new to raising chickens, we just got our chicks 2 weeks ago!
We have 7 chickens, we had 8 but we lost one little girl after the first day : (
We have 2 Black Sex Link, 1 Amberlink, 2 Leghorn, 2 Rhode Island Red
I have 2 Silkie Bantams on order to be picked up tomorrow.
We also have two dogs and an indoor siamese cat. Our youngest dog is a Great Dane and he absolutely loves the chicks, he likes to come in with me to feed them and change their water. Our other two pets are not a fan of Bentley the Great Dane so I think he hoping the chickens will like him.
I am married with two young children, they have really taken to checking on the chicks every morning before school and when they get home!
