Hi! I have been researching chickens for a while now, and next month we are taking the plunge! We are stocking up on supplies, knowledge, and tips. Any advice is appreciated, and I look forward to joining this community!

The hatchery nearby has a big selection, so the breeds I have been looking at are the Australorp, Golden Comet, Buff and Lavender Orpington, and my hubby wants some Easter Eggers. Looking to get 10 in some combination of these breeds.
