Hey all! New to the forum, and fairly new to chicken keeping. My fiance and I acquired our first 6 chicks in September, but 3 of them turned out to be roosters, so being that were in city limits, we had to give them away. I had decided no more chicks till we purchased a home with land next year, but somehow over the weekend, I ended up with 4 more chicks in the brooder.

Looking forward to learning tips and tricks from experienced keepers. And learning more about the breeds and habits.

Included is a pick of our most recent additions to the family.

:welcome Pretty talented chicks they walk on walls :lau How you get the bedding to stay there  One thing I'll tell you now better get the hen house ready they grow fast . You'll look funny walking chickens on a leash :gig

I got the bedding to stay in place with an old trick I learned from Spiderman. Haha. I didn't notice the pic was sideways till after the comments. Lol.

As for the hen house, we've converted the shed. It's got plenty of room for the growing girls, though, a chicken on a leash is not out of the question. The fiance is fairly fond of the idea since finding chicken harnesses at the local feed store.
