Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. I understand that sexing silkies is not as easy as with other breeds. If you post one "what breed or gender is this" forum you may get some advice. There's also a silkie thread that you may wish to post your question on.

Best wishes

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Lovely silkies you have there :D Yes silkies are notoriously hard to sex and sometimes can be six months before you can tell I'm afraid. The what breed gender section is a great place to pop by ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

Wishing you the very best of luck and enjoy BYC :frow

Are these hatchery silkies? In any case it is much too early to try and sex them. Beyond that it is much harder when they are all in a group grazing. When I first saw the photo it looked like sheep with all the white bodies.

A lot of attention needs to be given to their combs - which can't be seen at all in the photos.

I can't help with sexing silkies, but I just wanted to say hello and say that the links everyone gave will be super helpful. There are so many knowledgeable people on here who are always ready to lend a helping hand, so if you ever have any questions, always feel free to ask! Thanks for joining us!
