Once I had a life then I got dogs.
I don't remember all the breeds he said he was getting but I do know he mentioned Rhode Island Red. Sex Link, Easter Egger, and a few others. Of course I'm not picky yet. He said they are all good layers. Older gentleman at the local farm store. How can you not trust him? I'm only getting 6. Please don't tell me about Chicken Math.
They didn't all come in today but he is expecting them tomorrow.

Welcome to BYC! Did you get your chickens? And i have 2 golden retriever! IMO they are the best dogs in the world! Good luck with your chickens!(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I hope I am getting them today.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I will be getting 6

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I have lots. Mostly just making things. if i get an idea I just do it. I like to build stuff out leftover spare parts. I also can sew and am a Needlepoint beginner.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have golden retrievers. One is a champion the other has an obedience title. I have bird feeders and indoor cats. I've had indoor birds in the past but not with cats.I guess I've always had an animal or two around.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I want to build my Florida coop and found the forum googling advice.
