Newbie - just lost first chicken! How soon to replace?

OK - Barbara, the newbie, is now completely introduced, but wow Holly is being territorial! She won't let Barbara near the food, so I've started putting two feeders out, and she spends a lot of time chasing her around the garden. No damage has been done, but I wonder how long this will last? I assume they will settle down but I'm a bit nervous about leaving them - we're going away for a night over the weekend. It sounds silly but is it possible to train Holly not to pick on her? I've even thought about getting a super-soaker - I heard this works with cats!

I have used a water hose on my geese the problem was they liked it but it did stop the fighting .....
