Thanks, all, for the warm welcome! I did get a post into the state page, NorthFLChick and Two Crows, so thanks for that tip. And of course her own flock would be fantastic, drumstick diva, but I think it would be a stretch for her at this point--I'm afraid her toddlers would be superexcited to wake up to chicks under the Christmas tree, but I'm not sure she'd be as happy with me!

Thanks for the tip, Kelsie. I checked out the page, but if the first post in the thread has the actual listings, there doesn't seem to be anything for Washington yet. If there's another link that I'm missing, let me know. Julie
