It's my first hatch ever, I'm using a Hovabator 2632, which is circulated air. I've been using a digital thermometer throughout incubation, first raised to turner height, now on wire floor. It's consistently been 99 or 100. I locked down last night at day 18 with 9 good embryos candled. I decided to try out my brand new "temperature probe" tonight and it's freaking me out. It's giving me a temp of 102 even though digital hygrometer/thermometer is still showing 99. I'm worried temp is too high. Should I lower it? Should I open up bator and toss another thermometer in there? There's only one place I can put the probe in because the other two vents are impeded by hardware, so maybe that spot is warmer than the rest of the bator? The temp is the same up high or down low on the floor of incubator. Help...
Thanks in advance.
