My daughter also just got two African grey geese babies two days old last Thursday they ate so cute and sweet. They are being kept inside in a large storage bin, pine shavings water food, stuffed duck for company and a heat light. They are growing so fast, when is really safe for them to be outside? It is in the mid to high 80's in the day and high 60's to low 70's at night and only getting warmer. They would be in a coop with run for their safety but when will it be safe for them? Any help is greatly appreciated!

As long as they are out of the wind they would be fine outside during the day, I'd bring them in at night for a while yet, temps into the 60-low 70's may be a might cool for them at night with out heat lamp. They are precious Congrats!! AND

Thanks for the advice. I also read that they shouldn't get wet, but the literally lay in their little water dish cant keep them out of it? Can they really not get wet?

all of our goslings have open water pans from hatch to adult hood. They also all go outside all day each day from 3 days old and up. We have secure yards for the super young goslings tobe in with mini shelters for them to get out of the wind, or for incase of rain.
