Newbie trying to learn how to post

Hey Everyone! My little chick is 6 months old and she was born with a crooked beak, finally I was able to pick her up and love on her a bit and noticed that her top beak is curving really bad, if I don't trim it soon I fear we will have problems. How can I trim it? Is there anyone in the Oklahoma City area that I can go too? She's still eating and drinking fine. I'm just worried. Thank you in advanced.

To get help with your roosters feet, post about him over on this forum:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures

Just click on that link and it will take you to the emergency forum. When you get there, look for small white box toward the upper left corner that is labeled, "Start A New Thread". Click on that and a message box will open up. You can type in a title for your thread and then explain in the body of the message box what the problem is with your rooster.

Hope that helps!

P.S. Take a look at the FAQ (frequently asked questions) for more information on features.

OMG I just have to share this. I just purchased eight Buff Orpington chicks. My first time raising little ones. My other chickens I purchased already grown. Well in my attempts to be an excellent parent for these little ones I had a brain fart. I have a laser thermal thermometer and I thought I'd use it to see what the temp was where the chicks decided to sleep in the brooder. I wanted to know their exact comfort zone. Good idea right? Well these little ones saw the laser dot and started chasing it all over the brooder LOL ! If you thought a dog or cat goes crazy over the red dot you ain't seen nothing. These three day old chicks were so aggressive to catch the dot......it was so funny.

I still am baffled as to how to post a question on this web site. I know it must be simple but simple must be a problem for me. I am on a I phone 6 I believe on the mobile version. Any help anyone?
