hello everyone I don't have any chickens yet, we currently have 5 ducklings and once they are out of the brooder we plan on purchasing some chicks. I have a few questions.
1. know any hatcheries close to PA? we purchased our ducklings from friends and TSC and i hate not knowing if i have too many drakes or what not...The waiting game sucks! lol
2. What breed of chicken is good for a starter? We are looking for a good egg layer, easy to tame chicken. I was thinking maybe the White giant, but not sure.
3. are there any differences in taking care of chicks than ducks? besides the water.
