Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the advice so far. I really want to start with three chickens and our coop is large enough for six, but my husband is adamant that we only start with two girls. He's not as gung-ho as I am so he wants to start small and get used to the idea. I hope that after a couple months with the ladies he falls in love and decides to add another girl to our flock but for now I need to start with two. Thanks for all the advice so far! Keep it coming!
