I had the same thought - I wouldn't trust any cat near tiny chicks like that. Although, I did have a mama cat adopt a baby bunny once. My dog had gotten into the bunny nest and brought one of the babies up to the house. (It's eyes weren't even open yet) I figured there was nothing I could do for it, so I took it out to the shed where I had a mama cat raising some babies that were just a couple of weeks old. I figured she could use the protein. The next morning I went out to check on the kittens, fully expecting the bunny to be gone. Nope! There it was, nursing on the mama with the kittens! It lived about two weeks, then the Tom cat came home...She's thinkig dinner.
Late yesterday afternoon.
How do I help it?
