I wish ours had. They took a couple of our chickens, but a neighbor got out a gun and shot at the mother cougar and her cubs, they moved away pretty quickly!
But we’ve been getting an over abundance of coyotes, and I heard a cougar call again just last night. Hope the mama’s not back!!

Hello :) I’ll take the black bears any day as well!! The Brown and Grizzly are not scared of us and can be a bit intimidating to scare off. But I’ve since installed the strongest electric fence zapper I could purchase....time will tell as we enter their get fat time, if it will work or not.

Ugh, that’s unnerving! We have tons of coyotes as well. I rebuilt my coop this spring with 6 foot 1/4 inch mesh wire cloth, buried into the ground and then the electric fence around that and then another fence around that lol. ...I can deal with bears ...I HATE wild cats, they scare me
