Hi everyone,

New to this forum and to chickens!

We recently moved to 5 arces and it came with 11 Isa Browns, 1 passed away a week after we moved in.

Picked up a Rooster 2 months ago so we can start getting some chicks!

As my Isa's are not broody i started incubation 1 month ago and only got 1 baby as the other eggs were not fertilised. I then picked up 2 silkie babies to keep my chick company!

Moving to an acreage that came with chickens? How lucky! Mine just came with a bunch of rusting junk and half-burned piles of garbage.

Sounds like you are off to great start with your girls, you roo and the chicks!
