I know this sounds like a crazy Birthday gift, but I have been wanting to raise layers for years and for my Birthday (the big 50 ) I get to have them. I celebrate this weekend and were putting together the coop plans, husband and I are going to build our own!!! so excited. Any advise you would like to share I would love it.

Welcome. I got my coop and girls last March. Things have been going great and I'm looking to get two more this Spring. I can only have 4 hens so that protects me from chicken math!
