You're welcome. I haven't had the Freedom Rangers, but I have had Red Stars (Red Sex Links) and Rhode Island Reds. Red Stars are egg laying machines. Along with my Black Stars (Black Sex Links), they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. RIRs are very good layers, but be aware that hatchery quality RIRs are sometimes aggressive (especially the roosters). Good luck with your flock.
