To know if one quit early on, you almost have to open up the egg, if a blood ring is not visible when you candle.

I hope it gets better, my hatch was only 30%

However I am recallibrating my hatcher, got 9 eggs in the bator ready to move tomrrow morning.

Picking up another dozen eggs on Saturday to place in the bator.

I'm adding RhythmicGoldfish to the listing. She PMd me prior to the 8th, and didn't post on the thread. She set 10 eggs, had 8 infertile, 2 remaining and 2 hatched. 10-8=2 2/2 100% This is our first 100% hatch.

We will need to determine the winner based not only on percentage but also based on # eggs set somehow in order to make things fair. I have had 2 requests for this.

Good news for ya'll... I'm 0/4 on the silkies, and awaiting the 7 Welsummers... so currently 0/11. Your odds just got better.
But wait! One Wellie has a PIP and is Peeping. Here's to hoping my luck changes.

Oh I do hope your luck changes! We've all worked so hard to get fuzzbutts, it would be criminal for anyone of us not to hatch a few!

I have a serama baby!!

Not the greatest hatch. Out of 7 eggs I had:
1 never started
1 blood ring
2 died after the 10th day
1 died before pip
1 died after hatching
1 new baby= 17%

I'm happy but wish the other 2 would have lived.
